In brief
meisterdame.de has no accounts, no forms and no advertising. When you open it, the server hosting the site processes the access data that is technically necessary. Google Analytics runs only if you agree in the banner; before that, nothing is loaded from Google.
Hosting and server logs
With every request, the server automatically processes information your browser sends: IP address, date and time, the requested file, amount of data transferred and status code, the previously visited page (referrer, if sent) and your browser and operating system (user agent). The server is operated by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin.
This is necessary to deliver the site and keep it secure. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is delivering the site reliably and securely.
Fonts and images
Fonts, images and the QR code are served from the same server as the site. Nothing is loaded from other providers when you open it — unless you expressly agree, as described in the following sections.
Audience measurement with Google Analytics
If you click “Agree” in the banner, we use Google Analytics 4, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (measurement ID G-3CGJFWYR0P), to count which pages are read.
Before you agree, nothing is loaded from Google: no script, no pixel, no connection. Only your consent loads the script from www.googletagmanager.com. If you decline or do not decide, this does not happen at all.
Google then processes in particular: the page viewed and its title, the time, the previously visited page, information about browser, operating system, device, screen size and language setting, a random identifier used to recognise your browser, and your IP address, from which Google derives an approximate region.
For this, Google Analytics stores the cookies _ga and _ga_3CGJFWYR0P in your browser. They contain the random identifier and, by Google’s default, expire after two years.
We load Google Analytics in Consent Mode: storage for advertising, sharing user data for advertising and ad personalisation (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) are denied; only measurement (analytics_storage) is allowed. Google signals and ad personalisation signals are switched off in our configuration.
Google may also process data in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; the transfer is based on the European Commission’s adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR). Event data in Google Analytics is deleted after 2 months. User-level data tied to the cookie identifier is deleted after 14 months; each new visit restarts this period.
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG, formerly TTDSG).
You can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future — via “Cookie settings” in the footer of every page. From the next page view on, Google Analytics is no longer loaded. You can delete cookies that have already been set in your browser. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.
Storing your decision
We store your answer in the banner in your browser’s local storage (localStorage) under the key “meisterdame.site.consent”, with the value “granted” or “denied”. The entry never leaves your browser. Without it we would have to ask on every visit; it is therefore strictly necessary (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). Without your consent, the site stores nothing else in your browser.
Links to other services
The site links to: the web version of the game (meisterdame.app), Ko-fi (ko-fi.com), the imprint (www.triboot.de). You leave this site only when you follow a link or scan the QR code; nothing is transmitted to these services before that. Their own privacy policies apply there — for the game at meisterdame.app, the policy inside the game (Settings, Legal).
Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You can withdraw consent at any time (Art. 7(3) GDPR). Please contact us at the address above.
You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen (State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia), Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany.
